| Frequently Asked Questions |
- Magnetic appliques are sold in pairs -- one pointing left, one pointing right. Sorry, but we cannot mix-and-match colors or styles as the magnets are cut with a custom die in matched pairs.
- Apply magnets only to a clean vehicle, preferably following the application of a coat of wax.
- Magnets must be removed each and every time you run your vehicle through a car wash.
- We recommend relocating your magnets every week or two.
- Magnet Care Instructions:
It's important to apply magnets only when both the vehicle surface and the magnet itself are clean and dry. Your vehicle should be waxed prior to applying.
We recommend that magnets not be applied or removed when the temperature is below 40°F. The magnet material may freeze and can snap if bent while cold. If the vehicle surface is very cold, frost or condensation may be present, preventing a good grip by the magnet material.
An occasional generous waxing of both the surface where the sign will be placed and the back of the sign itself can prevent damage to the vehicle surface.
Remove all magnets at least weekly. Clean and wipe dry both the magnetic side and the surface of the vehicle, then re-apply. We recommend users change the position of magnets when reapplying. During warmer, humid weather, remove magnets every 3 or 4 days to prevent moisture from building up under the magnet, which may result in damage to the surface. To clean, simply wash magnet with warm water and a mild dish detergent. Rinse and wipe dry before reapplying to vehicle.
We make no warranty (expressed or implied) against loss of magnets or damage to vehicle surfaces, as we have no control over how magnets are cared for, altered, stored, and/or used, or the surface to which the magnets are applied.

- Sighthounds (e.g., Greyhounds, whippets, Borzoi, Saluki, Pharoah Hound, etc.) generally have necks bigger than their heads. A properly adjusted Martingale-type collar is preferred for sighthounds because it is harder for them to slip out or back out of these collars.
- All our sighthound (Martingale-type) collars are fully adjustable from 14" to 20".
- When putting one of these collars on your dog, you should ALWAYS adjust it so you can slip two fingers in between the dog's neck and the collar.
- Frequently inspect any collar on your dog for signs of wear or weakness.
- Our wind spinners are made in America of heavy duty 400 series 18-Gauge Stainless Steel.
- All of our wind spinners come with a heavy duty swivel for easy turning.
- Every wind spinner includes a lifetime rust-proof warranty.
- We custom make all of our vinyl decals.
- These decals are made from automotive grade vinyl decal which will withstand years of weather and washing.
- These decals can be easily applied to any smooth surface.
- Vinyl Decal Application Instructions:
First, apply vinyl stickers only to clean, smooth surfaces. The cleaner the surface, the better your sticker will adhere. Stickers may be removed, but doing so will destroy the decal. Application to surfaces colder than 40°F is not recommended, unless the surface can be heated slightly with a hair dryer before application.
Before application, place the sticker on a flat surface and remove the white backing sheet, leaving the sticker attached to the clear "transfer" sheet.
Small stickers (less than 3 inches) can be apply directly by peeling off the release paper from the back of the sticker, affix the sticker, apply slight pressure to smooth and remove the transfer sheet. Use caution with this "dry method" as, once the sticker makes contact with the surface, it is stuck and you can’t reposition it.
With larger stickers, we recommend using the "wet method" of application. Mix 1 cup of cold tap water with one drop of dishwashing liquid (Dawn, Ivory, etc.). We suggest pouring this mixture into a clean spray bottle, though a lint-free rag or sponge can be used instead. Apply the water mixture liberally to the surface to which the sticker is being applied. This wet method permits you to work from the center to the outside, smoothing out the sticker and eliminating wrinkles or air bubbles. A credit card works well as a "squeegee" for this purpose.
Once the sticker is in place, let it dry for about 15 minutes and then spray the backing paper with the above water mixture and carefully peel off the backing paper. If an edge of the sticker lifts from the surface, use the credit card to smooth it back down and wait a couple more minutes for the further drying.
Do not wash your car for at least several days after applying the sticker, which will permit all of the application fluid to evaporate completely.
